Morale Check

I'm getting ahead of myself here, but this will eventually be included in The S'rulyan Vault III.

In the meantime, I'm putting things down on paper so they can be considered and revised before becoming law writ down by the tentacles of God upon slimy green R'lyehian tablets - never to be questioned - upon threat of heresy and death by stoning (mostly the sharp, jagged ones).

Roll upon the following random table when the enemy has either just lost over half its forces (and is currently outnumbered or outgunned) or their leader has been killed.

Morale Check

1. Run away!
2. Fighting withdrawal.
3. Surrender.
4. Call for a truce (if ignored, continue fighting normally).
5. Parley - invoking temporary protection so that verbal negotiation can commence.
6. Pretend to surrender and then sneak attack.
7. Run away with the intention of re-grouping to attack again very soon.
8. Continue fighting with fear in their hearts (disadvantage on future attacks).
9. Continue fighting.
10. Continue fighting with hate in their hearts (advantage on future attacks).
11. They have... 1) reinforcements, 2) a secret weapon, 3) a trap to spring upon their opponents, 4) ways of getting the fuck out of there.
12. Favored by the Dark Gods... 1) their strongest warrior gets an extra attack, 2) their leader is fully healed, 3) their mightiest opponent is struck down for 3d6 damage (exploding), 4) a spectral or demonic ally is summoned to fight for them.
